But backtracking on this will be perceived as sanctioning antisemites and antisemitic beliefs, the UK has had worsening antisemitism especially within the ranks of the PA and those they choose to align themselves with publicly.

I think you're conflating anti-zionism with anti-semitism. And they're almost certainly not the same thing?

I think you're remarkably naive if you came to that conclusion from what I've said, or you want to ignore/downplay the reality of it. There is abundant documentary evidence of these individuals calling for the death of jews, or the persecution of jews, openly in the streets of London. There has been a significant and objective rise in the number of antisemitic attacks here.

Not antizionist, openly antisemitic, are you looking to excuse the latter by means of the former, or blur the lines between the two such that the latter is acceptable.

Criticism of Israel is not inherently antisemitic and is fine, but this is not that.

I don't claim to be expert enough to know everything about the situation, and there have always been those rancid racist, anti-semetic types in every country. But maybe, just maybe, there's a correlation between the current Gaza carnage and any rise in totally unacceptable Jewish hate speech. I'm absolutely not excusing it, it's disgusting, but maybe it's being provoked by the regular shooting of children over there? I think it's all so so sad.
