US threatens to ground Iranian airlines worldwide from Wednesday

That's it? That's the big idea to open the strait? Something tells me the Iranian government really won't care about their little fledgling already sanctioned airline getting even more sanctioned. They have leverage over the entire world right now and their Houthis just blew up the only other way for oil to get out of the middle east.

Not like the US has precedent killing planeloads of Iranian passengers or anything like that.
