Oh, very interesting. I've ran into problems like this in queuing systems and had no idea that this is what they were called.

Going in and just dumping the queues can solve it, but can be tricky depending on the complexity of the system.

yes, post bit challenging to follow, too metamotif for immediate practical use. proximate notion of phase-locked loops (PLL) to measure & calibrate machines more accessible & familiar motif. emerging work to mimic control theory phase lock in metamaterials, information theory, etc. bleeding edge of transfer use cases of these same PLL/control principles. also key for AI alignment.
