Bannon is a populist, and America-first nationalist. Bannon is NOT a free-market reagonomics Republican. Remember, one of his criticisms of Obama was that he didn't bail out the auto-industry enough. This shouldn't be surprising who actually pays attention. There is also a large amount of Obama - Bernie - Trump voters, people need to get rid of simple Left vs Right thinking, there are multiple dimensions to politics.

This submission title has been editorialized, contrary to the HN Guidelines. The actual article title is "The Only Thing Capable of Uniting Bernie and Bannon".

The news media shamelessly focuses on Bernie and Bannon, as clickbait for their articles (and possibly because the billionaire-owned media hates Bernie), but Bernie and Bannon are only two of a diverse lineup of speakers at a conference: https://prohumanassembly.org

Moreover, the organizers of the conference are themselves a diverse group with over a million organizational and individual endorsers: https://humanstatement.org

Anyway, AI is surely not the only thing capable of "uniting" Bernie and Bannon. Everyone wants a cure for cancer, right? If they both appeared at a cancer cure fundraiser, would you say it's a "bromance"? Ridiculous.

Not a bromance.

Bannon for 10 years continues his plant left, pivot alt right. He wants far right nationalism, and AI to bootlick.

Liberals still falling and giving the racists destroying America false equivwlents.

The extreme left don’t look much different from the extreme right.

Do you consider Sanders "extreme left?"
