Symbolics Genera now available free for non-commercial use (inv-only early beta)

Thank you, moderators, for fixing the title to point out that, sadly, this is invitation-only, for now. Not including that detail was an oversight on my part.

I had Symbolics for personal use.

But it was just a grey box running Maclisp of sort. Never understood the actual purpose, except Amerikka novelty -- for Russian visitors in Helsinki,

I think Lisp in big VAX was faster or at least more convenient?
