What a strangely written article. Multiple blatant spelling mistakes, the grammar consistently just feels so .. off. It feels like it was written by someone with such a strange grasp of the English language. But the editor seems like somebody that was born and raised with English as their primary language. It almost feels like they're using a really old LLM model to generate the text, so that it doesn't show the modern LLM fingerprints/mannerisms, but the sentences it produces are just .. weird.

I think it might honestly be of organic origin

“This story has a bittersweet ending, because Roger told us that as he worked on the project, he realized the income would complicate his own tax affairs”

Do they not have accountants in the UK? Seems bonkers to come out of retirement for a lucrative payday and then give it away on account of some extra paperwork.
