Need UI advice for a retro site I created

I made a retro social media in my dorm. I know, it has been done before, I just added my own twist to things and added unique features along with it.

Besides the point though, I need brutally honest criticism on my work, specifically the home page, since that would be my landing page. My username there is Dario, so you can DM me there with criticism or just comment it. I'll try to look here regularly.

Be as rude as you like, criticism is far better than people being unnecessarily nice about the whole thing.

And incase anyone is wondering, the site is sitting at around 500 users. So far, the users on there seem to like the appearance, but again, I think people actively using it would be more inclined to be really nice about it. I could also just be messing with my own head here, who knows

It looks retro! Seems spot on if that’s what you’re going for. Looks like a hand rolled forum from the 90s. No UI problems if that’s the vibe!
