Ask HN: Devs who are out of work – what are you doing for income now?

Maybe sell some things is a good start? What ideas have you come up with?

Started a YouTube channel. I have to try something. Also I'm trying to be very flexible about the work I take on.

If I ever get fired or can't find a job in tech, my backup plan is simple: open a pastry bakery. At least when the dough doesn't rise, I can blame the yeast instead of the product manager.
